ISSEA Sydney Chapter Formation

An ISSEA Chapter was formed in Sydney at an inaugural ISSEA Sydney Chapter meeting held on 6 March 2016. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the role and function of the Chapter. At the meeting ISSEA officers outlined their vision, goals and the current progress of ISSEA including its activities.

The Sydney chapter will bring ISSEA members in the area together either face to face or virtual, to enable the sharing of ideas and information about projects and to support each other in delivering these projects to the community. The chapters will also locally manage course matters and also maintain local communications and meetings of ISSEA members.

At this meeting it was decided that the members will bring creative ideas for additional projects of interest they themselves will like to be involved in to help take SSEHV to the Australian community. It was emphasised that each Chapter will take on its own character, dependent on the interests, wishes and needs of the members. It was encouraged for members to be as innovative and active as possible in taking EHV to the community. In order to identify projects of interest the ISSEA has developed a uniform ‘Project Expression of Interest’ template that could be used by everyone to submit ideas for projects. The template is available here.

We encourage as many of you as possible to complete this template and email the completed templates to

The Sydney Chapter is looking for members who are interested in assisting in this worthy cause. Are you, or do you know anyone who may like to join the Sydney Chapter? If interested please send an email to

Launch of Foundation Unit on “Life and Teachings of Sathya Sai Baba”

The Foundation Unit on “The Life and Teachings of Sathya Sai Baba” has been launched. It is also the first unit of the Certificate in SSEHV to be offered by the Institute. This unit in part replaces the previous “Introductory Course” and is suitable for everyone, even if you do not want to take any more of the units or modules the ISSEA will be offering. It will be run in an STP1-style format in your local area or in an on-line format for isolated participants.

We Need Volunteers

For ISSEA to achieve our vision we need the help of interested members of the SSIO, especially those with training in SSEHV. It is for this that Dr Pal Dhall led the training of over two hundred diploma holders since 1998. Now is the time for these skilled individuals and others who have the knowledge or who are willing to go through ISSEA courses to acquire that knowledge, to step forward.
